OK so now the REST of the story. Remember how I mentioned that the couch had a recliner in it? Well I was doing my *usual* ZOOMIES on the couch and my foot went between the cushions. OUCH! My foot landed right in the mechanics of the recliner and I cut the pad of my foot really bad! Mom took me to the vet and I had to wear a BIG bandage on it. Plus it was raining outside, so Mom kept putting saran wrap on my bandage. Here I am recuperating on the evil couch.
Before Mom figured out to use Saran Wrap to keep my foot dry, she used a plastic grocery bag. UGH! Every time I took a step the bag would go "swish, swish!" I thought I would die of embarrassment. I even had to miss going lure coursing that weekend. I actually amputated part of my pad. Needless to say I was feeling pretty blue about the whole thing. Then I got a box in the mail addressed to "Master Dijon". It was from some of my best friends, Auntie Mary and her Great Danes Gina Peek-a-Boo and Dr. Ukey D. Roni. WOW - they sent me a care package! and there were presents inside!

Then I got my very first "Tonka toy"! Mom let me take it out of the package myself...
There were also some Innova Health Bar cookies. They are VERY yummy, and I did share a couple bites with my brothers too. I'm so thankful to Mary and her family for sending me presents. BOY do I feel special.
My foot feels better, and I don't have to wear the bandage anymore. It is almost healed.
OH - and in case you are wondering, a brand NEW couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman were delivered yesterday. NO MORE RECLINERS in our house! Both Dad and I are already trying to claim the chair - we'll see who wins. :) I'll let you know next month! Wuv, Dijon
